11. Casa de Luz Missions Trip Update

A team meeting was held on zoom on Thursday, Jan 16. The travel plan was discussed as well as cost and what to expect at Casa de Luz. We have 16 people committed to this trip and will be proceeding with the purchase of airline tickets to get from Vancouver to San Diego. There is the possibility of still adding in more but we need to know as soon as possible. It is absolutely essential that we travel down together so booking our flight now its important. 2. Pastor Valerie Yiu and Mr. William Tan has accepted the church invitation to help the children and teens ministry voluntarily during and after the sabbatical of Pastor Bill. Pastor Valerie will provide training, give suggestions, and help out in the transition of AWANA to STEM among other programs in the children ministry of the church. Mr. William Tan will help out in the Friday high school fellowship from grade 7 to 12, starting on January 10, after which every second and fourth Friday of the month.

17. Casa de Luz Missions Trip Update

We are now booked to be at Casa de Luz from July 5 to July 12, 2025. So we are now committed to this adventure in missions! What we need now is to get a firm commitment from those who wish to be a part of this trip. The important part now is to book our airfare to travel from Vancouver to San Diego on July 5th. This is

an important holiday weekend in the USA so the sooner we book the better. For this part of the trip we need to all travel together since we will be picked up on the other side of the border by the vans coming from Casa de Luz to provide us with transportation there.
